FAQ
The Gira design configurator gives you a realistic impression of the entire Gira design system. It is a programme (available in app or desktop versions) that supports you in combining the versatile frame versions of the Gira design lines with selected functions in different colours and materials from the Gira range. Furthermore, its “Live View” mode uses augmented reality via the camera on your smartphone or tablet to show you how selected designs would look in your real-life environment.
You can find the design configurator here.
Pushbutton sensors can control a range of intelligent building-technology functions, e.g. switching on and dimming lights, raising and lowering blinds, saving and calling up light scenes, and controlling heating. Operation of these sensors can be customised to user needs, allowing flexibility in terms of button function assignment.
The TX_44 and water-protected surface-mounted (WP SM) ranges are ideally suited for outdoor use. The TX_44 range offers IP44 protection and the WP SM offers protection up to IP66. The Standard 55 and E2 ranges also offer IP44 protection on the basis of the socket outlets, rocker switches and rocker buttons with seal set.
The speaker cover and operating buttons can be supplied separately as spare parts for the Gira radio.
Otherwise, the device is considered to be a single unit.
A “reset” returns the controller to its delivery status. To do this, press the + (plus) and - (minus) buttons at the same time for more than 10 seconds. Following this, a display test is automatically carried out. The date and time for initial start-up can be set.
Notes:
Devices with no index label (e.g. RTR top unit with clock, item no. 0389 xx)
In the case of devices with no index label, the rate deviation factor must be noted before performing the reset. You can find this factor on the back of the top unit. Once you have programmed the time and date, set the rate deviation as follows:
- Press Set and Prog at the same time for approx. 10 seconds. “n” flashes and then the clock appears, target or actual. (Time is factory-set)
- Press the “Plus” button ten times until a flashing “U” appears.
- Press Set to select and set the desired value using the plus or minus button.
Devices with index label (e.g. RTR top unit with clock, item no. 0389 xx) index: I00)
In the case of devices with an index label, the rate deviation correction factor is permanently stored in the EEPROM.
