A wireless system is a component of building automation. In contrast to a wired solution, a wireless system allows functions such as light and blind control to be easily retrofitted and networked without having to lay new cables. It functions in a similar way to radios, for example, sending information via radio waves. These solutions are controlled via smartphone, a remote control or via a transmitter (e.g. switch) that is screwed or attached to the wall and can be wirelessly connected to a receiver (e.g. blind controller). ZigBee® and eNet are known wireless standards.
