As an international seal of approval, the Red Dot Award stands for outstanding design.
Since 1954, the Design Centre North Rhine-Westphalia has honoured innovative companies with the Red Dot Award. To reflect the industry’s diversity, the competition is divided into three disciplines: product design, communication design, and design concept. Gira products have been among the winners many times – most recently, the jury selected the flush-mounted variant of Gira System 106 and the Gira pushbutton sensor 4 System 55.
Red Dot Award: Product Design 2023 for the Gira pushbutton sensor 4 System 55.
As an intelligent switch, the Gira System 55 push button sensor 4 enables you to intuitively control your KNX Smart Home's functions such as lighting, blinds, room temperature, scenes and much more. As a component of the modular Gira System 55, the pushbutton sensor can be combined with a wide variety of frames and inserts to suit your preferences. The switch is also available with a high-quality laser inscription or a personalised inscription label.
Red Dot Award: Product Design 2022 for the flush-mounted Gira System 106.
Modular, modern, stylish: the flush-mounted Gira System 106 checks all the boxes. The smart intercom includes a doorbell and camera, along with your name plate and street number. Integrated into the facade, it blends in seamlessly at the entrance – and leaves an elegant first impression.
Red Dot Award: Product Design 2022 for the Gira System 3000 touch top unit.
The Gira System 3000 touch top unit matches virtually any interior style. You can choose between a variety of frame variants from the Gira design lines – classic or cutting-edge, minimalist or extravagant. High-quality aesthetics thus meet smart functionality: a slight touch is enough to precisely adjust your lights and blinds. Using the memory function, you can save and activate your preferred settings anytime.
Red Dot Award 2020 for the Gira motion detector Cube.
The Gira motion detector Cube reacts to thermal movement, ensuring that outdoor lights only switch on when necessary. It can be mounted onto the facade or under the ceiling of a carport, for example. With its signature shape, the Cube also serves as a visual highlight: subtle yet striking.

The Gira home station enhances both your living comfort and your security standards. A high-resolution display will show you who’s ringing the bell – before you open the door. Thanks to an integrated speaker function, you can talk to visitors as well. The surface-mounted video home station 7 is available in the colour variants pure white glossy and black matt.
Red Dot Award 2019 for the Gira System 3000.
Gira System 3000 covers the most essential functions of any Smart Home: blind, lighting, and heating control. There are many different operating units available: from simple up-and-down switches with or without arrow symbols to Bluetooth top units that enable you to monitor the system via app. Thanks to uniform measurements of 55 x 55 mm, the components can be combined with all frame variants from the Gira System 55: design that matches your style, not the other way round.

With its sleek and modern aesthetic, Gira System 106 immediately catches the eye. But the smart door intercom has a lot more to offer: its modular design allows you to customise individual functions according to your needs and preferences.
