Retrofitting Gira door communication – made easy
The Gira System 106 uses two-wire technology, meaning that in most cases the existing wiring of a simple doorbell system can be reused, even for video functions.
Often, it’s enough to replace the system components while keeping the existing infrastructure intact. Thanks to particularly slim, modular, and configurable stations, installation work remains minimal.
For buildings with external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS), a surface-mounted installation – such as that offered by the Gira System 106 – is especially recommended.
