Not just any prize: the Red Dot Award is an internationally recognised seal of approval for outstanding design.
Since its inception in 1954, the Red Dot Award has been granted by the German organisation "Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen". To reflect the industry' diversity, there are three different categories: product design, communication design, and design concept. The prominent expert jury has selected Gira products on several occasions. Winners include the Gira System 106 and the surface-mounted video home station Plus.
Gira System 106 immediately catches the eye with its sophisticated design. But the smart door intercom has more to offer: thanks to its modular setup, the range of functions can be individually adapted. This makes Gira System 106 suitable for both single-family homes and apartment buildings.
The surface-mounted video home station Plus is Gira's solution for door communication and access control. On the 2.2-inch colour display, you'll see who's ringing your bell at one glance. Pushing a button with capacitive sensor technology, you can open the door or talk to visitors.
The new Gira home station further increases your living comfort and security. A high-resolution 7-inch display (including a touch interface) provides a clear view of visitors at the door and allows you to quickly operate the basic functions "door call" and "open door". Before pressing the "open door" button, you can communicate with visitors over the integrated speakerphone. The surface-mounted indoor station is designed to blend in with your interior: feel free to choose from varants in pure white glossy or black matt. It can be mounted on the wall in hallways and kitchens, or simply be put on a table.
The Gira motion detector Cube reacts to physical as well as thermal movement, rendering light control extremely precise. Avaiable in pure white glossy and anthracite, the cube-shaped sensor can be installed on the wall or under the ceiling.
Gira System 3000 combines lighting, blind, and heating control in a single unit. Settings are configured according to manually entered data or astronomical events such as sunrise and sunset. An illuminated display makes operating the unit particularly easy – via switch or app and bluetooth. The 55 x 55 mm device is compatible with Gira design lines from the System 55 range.
