Since 2020, Gira has been repeatedly honoured with the Architects' Darling Award. In 2023, we won Gold for the best electrotechnology and Bronze for the best film "Product Presentation".

The Architects' Darling Award, presented in Lower Saxony’s Celle Germany, recognizes the "favourites of the construction industry". At the 13th ceremony of this coveted award, Gira won two accolades:

• Gold prize for the best electrotechnology

• Bronze prize for the best advertisement

The winners of the award are decided by the Architects' Darling Survey, in which about 2,000 architects and planners participated in 2023. Additionally, a panel of experts from prominent international architectural firms and media or communication experts gave their assessments.

Gold for electrotechnology and Bronze for the best film “Product presentation” Gira was awarded the Architects’ Darling Award in Gold for its product range in the field of electrotechnology. Thus, it managed to stand out in categories such as product quality, value for money, innovation, technical support, and safety against the other competitors.

In 2021, Gira won two awards as well. The first gold price was awarded for their trailblazing product range in the field of electrotechnology. The second one honoured a German advertisement for the Gira System 106 in black matt: just as the product itself, the print ad stands out with a monochrome-minimalistic, yet striking design.  

Gira wins the Architects' Darling Award 2020 in the category, "Best Website", making it the winner among almost 200 manufacturers from the construction industry who took part in this nation's largest industry survey.

This year, 25 product areas were evaluated, from floor coverings to technical products that have become more important in Corona times, like air conditioning and living space ventilation. In addition, 12 theme awards were presented by a jury consisting of communication experts as well as renowned representatives of top international architecture firms. One of the categories here was the "Best Website".

The Architects‘ Darling Award has recognsed Gira as one of the most creative and competitors in the industry.

The video that gained us a prize for "Best Film" tells our story: We're the ones with switches, and so much more beyond that. We're Smart Home pioneers, KNX experts, and designers of the future. The prize for "Best Product Innovation – Technology" honoured our Gira Pushbutton Sensor 4. This smart device can perform up to eight individual functions in KNX systems. The colour-adjustable LEDs serve as a status display for connected devices.
