The Gira wireless weather station combines the display of weather and energy consumption data within one device, while matching the style of the design line for the first time.

So you don't just see how the weather's shaping up, but also how much electricity and gas is currently being consumed.

Sensors

The Gira wireless energy and weather station can be equipped with six different sensors and adapters, depending on the requirements of the household or building. These are available optionally and are not supplied with the base station. In total, six sensors and adapters can be connected: In addition to the outdoor sensor, up to three energy measurement adapters, one LAN adapter, one electricity meter sensor or electronic household meter sensor, and a gas meter sensor can be connected to the station. All sensors have a range of 100 metres (in free field).

The outdoor sensor is a battery-operated device, which determines temperature and humidity in outdoor areas and transmits this information wirelessly to the energy and weather display. Temperature measurement range:
-30°C to +70°C.

The LAN adapter is plugged into a socket outlet as an adapter plug, connected to the local network with a cable, and receives a reliable weather forecast for the next three days from the internet. This forecast is then wirelessly transmitted to the energy and weather display.

Operation and functions

Thanks to its battery supply, the energy and weather display can be positioned freely within the house. As an option, power can also be supplied via a power supply unit. The display can be integrated into the Gira System 55, E22 and F100 design lines. Individual sensors wirelessly transmit the consumption data directly onto the display. Comparative values are also shown there in the form of a colour bar.

Installing the home station

The Gira wireless energy and weather display for indoors can be integrated into the Gira System 55 and E22 design lines. The battery-operated variant can be inserted into the 2-gang crossbarless frame and installed surface-mounted anywhere using a mounting plate. There is also the option of inserting a power supply unit into the battery compartment. Charging the batteries regularly is not necessary with this type of installation.
