Convenient dimming with Gira pushbutton dimmers
Create the perfect lighting atmosphere with ease. A light, brief tap is all it takes to switch the light on or off. To dim the light continuously, simply press and hold the rocker. Touch the upper part to make the light brighter, or the lower part to dim it. Prefer not to adjust everything every time? Then conveniently save your favourite lighting scene.
Two lights, one dimmer: Gira series dimmer
You can also conveniently control two lights or even groups of lights independently with a single pushbutton dimmer. What would otherwise require separate dimmers is combined by Gira in one control device thanks to its dual function. Retrofitting is also straightforward: an existing series switch can simply be replaced with the Gira series dimmer. The Gira series dimmer is available for all Gira switch ranges.
Your turn to perfect light: Gira rotary dimmers
Simple and energy-efficient: with the Gira rotary dimmer, you can easily dim incandescent, halogen, and LED lamps manually, create the right lighting atmosphere in no time, and save energy at the same time. The soft start function switches the light on gently and helps protect the light sources. To prevent damage in the event of a short circuit or overload, every Gira rotary dimmer is equipped with electronic short-circuit protection and automatic overheating protection.
Always a touch better: Gira touch dimmers
The Gira touch dimmer responds to the lightest touch, using capacitive sensor technology that reacts even to minimal contact. Simply activate it with a touch and the last selected brightness level lights up. Choose your preferred lighting mood by selecting the desired dimming level directly via the corresponding LED point on the touch surface. The selected LED lights up to confirm your choice. You can also switch to a different brightness level at any time or adjust it intuitively by sliding your finger across the dimming levels.
Smooth, flicker-free dimming and intuitive colour temperature control
The DALI rotary dimmer allows you to adjust brightness and regulate colour temperature for lamps with a DALI interface. It can be installed in place of an existing switch or dimmer. If you already use a Gira rotary dimmer, you can continue using your existing cover and frame from the Gira System 55 or the Gira Flat switch range. Operation is intuitive and familiar: turn and press. Press once to switch the light on or off, turn to adjust the brightness, and adjust the colour temperature by turning while pressing the knob.
