Radio RDS time
Why is the Gira radio displaying the wrong time or not displaying the time?
If the incorrect time is shown or if no time is shown at all, this means it is being incorrectly sent or not being sent by the transmitter. The time is transmitted via the RDS signal. To rectify this, set a strong transmitter and wait until the time changes.
When initialising, you can change the clock status to either “TIME Yes” or “TIME No”. To re-initialise manually and reach this settings option, hold the “>>” and “2” buttons down together for at least five seconds.

Speakers with a total impedance of 4-16 Ohm can be connected to the Gira RDS radio. You can connect as many speakers as you wish. However, please note that the greater the number/size of the speakers, the lower their performance.
The maximum length of the speaker cable is limited to 20 m.

The Gira RDS radio simply sits on the wall, just as light switches and socket outlets do. This means there is no need for annoying cables and work surfaces and counters can be kept free.
The time cannot be adjusted because it is transmitted via the RDS signal.
