FAQ
Dimmer with push-button/2-way switch/outdoor use
Can dimmers with push-buttons/2-way switches also be used outdoors?
Dimmers with push-buttons/2-way switches can be used outdoors by deploying cover plates with IP44 protection.
However, be aware that the devices must not be exposed to direct sunlight.
For example, in the TX_44 design line, the cover plate with knob can be used outdoors for all dimmers with push-buttons/2-way switches up to 600 W/VA and electronic potentiometers (order no. 0650 27) in conjunction with the adapter plate with transparent hinged cover (order no. 0409 66).
Electrical devices may only be installed by a qualified electrician. Please see the information at https://www.gira.de/service/bauherren/installationshinweis.html
