In the 1960s and 1970s, King’s Road formed the epicentre of the hippy and punk subcultures, and has since grown to become one of the capital city’s places to be. Inspired by Malcolm McLaren and Vivienne Westwood, who opened their first boutique here, it is now in the hands of hip designers while also offering high-end dining, lifestyle and luxury shopping. There used to be an old cinema on the corner of Old Church Street, which has now given way to a remarkable new building.
