Gira G1 as a KNX room operating device

Does the Gira G1 need an IP router?

If using the Gira G1 as a KNX room control device, you must have a KNX IP router order no. 2167 00. If using the Gira G1 as a Client for the Gira HomeServer or Gira X1, KNX communication takes place via the Gira HomeServer or Gira X1 and does not explicitly require a KNX IP router.

Electrical devices may only be installed by a qualified electrician. Please see the information at https://www.gira.de/service/bauherren/installationshinweis.html
