The holiday region at the foot of the Hochkönig mountain is known as 'Hochkönigs Bergreich'. The majestic limestone massif is a real challenge for passionate climbers. There is no convenient cable railway leading up or down the mountain. Below the mountain nestles the romantic village of Mühlbach am Hochkönig, the perfect place to forget the hectic pace of everyday life in idyllic and inviting surroundings. The Deutinger family running the hotel decided to turn this haven into something special: Proneben Gut.
Proneben Gut is no ordinary hotel complex, no holiday home in the common sense and it's also not a 'farm holiday' location. The unusual concept combines luxurious living with a working farm. A mix that inspired the complex's 'Kuschelhütten' (snuggle chalets), where holidaymakers can find peace and relaxation. Guests were so taken by these cosy lodgings that the Deutinger family decided to build an additional five chalets.
