Enjoyment of art and joie de vivre – with around 60 cultural institutions, Vienna's MuseumsQuartier is not only one of the world's largest art and cultural complexes. Its courtyards, cafés and shops also make it an oasis of tranquillity and relaxation in the city centre. 

The 25hours design hotel is within walking distance of the MuseumsQuartier. BWM Architekten from Vienna acted as the general contractor across the two phases of the renovation work on this 1970s building. The classic reinforced concrete frame structure featuring a flat façade structure and a consistent window arrangement originally had six storeys. In the first construction phase, the linear building was topped with three new storeys made of glass. Their façade design is based on the clear structure of the existing façade. During the second phase, a courtyard and outdoor space were created on the lower floor in order to light and ventilate the seminar and wellness areas accordingly.

The 25hours Hotel has 183 rooms and 34 suites spanning seven floors. The design concept of the entire hotel follows the "circus world" motto – an exciting mix of materials, shapes, colours and accessories. The Gira E2 switch series was deliberately chosen for the equipment because its reduced design and minimal lines are excellently suited to the colourful furnishings. If you would like to relax before dinner following a long day in Vienna, you can visit the Mermaid's Cave to sweat and cool off. The 250-square-metre relaxation area is yet another option. Here, travellers can make themselves comfortable in rocking chairs. Simply suspending armchairs was a clever idea. The hotel's own 1500 FOODMAKERS restaurant has around 130 seats and pampers guests with Italian delicacies. 

Something special awaits tourists on the top floor, referred to as the Dachboden: A bar with circus flair and a rooftop terrace offering breath-taking views of the neighbouring buildings and the parliament. Travellers can experience a laid-back and trendy atmosphere inside. Fun circus tent elements guarantee that evenings spent there are unforgettable. Metal grids which are reminiscent of wild animal cages are used as room dividers, and a bicycle hangs from the ceiling. Huge sofas and long tables encourage guests to communicate with one another. 25hours is a modern hotel concept which serves as a contemporary response to the demands of an urban, cosmopolitan style group modelled on traditional hotels.
