Gira Control 9 Client

Control intelligent building technology with just one finger

With its screen diagonal of 22.9 cm [9"], the Gira Control 9 Client is especially compact while still offering the full functionality and easy usability of the Gira Control Clients. The Control 9's vivid touch display enables building technology to be easily operated with a single finger – so that lighting or blinds can be controlled, for example. Intuitive menu navigation thanks to the Gira Interface means that all functions can be quickly accessed. The eNet system can also be accessed when the eNet server is connected. What's more, the Gira Control 9 Client can be integrated into the Gira door communication system so that it can be used as a home station for audio-visual door communication.

Thanks to the award-winning Gira Interface, the Gira Control 9 Client provides exceptionally high usability. Menu navigation is intuitive, and all functions can be reached within two levels. Additional information or operating elements are displayed directly in a pop-up window. This makes the tedious clicking through of countless menu items a thing of the past. The Gira Control 9 Client has an impressively high-quality appearance due to the use of real materials such as aluminium and glass. The clear lines of the PC-based control device blend harmoniously with any home furnishings

Convenient room control

The Gira eNet server enables the eNet system to be conveniently controlled via LAN using the Gira Control 9 Client. In the process, the eNet server is connected to the home's networks via a router. Various functions such as switching on/off or dimming lights or raising/lowering blinds can be controlled centrally. The desired ambiance for a perfect room mood can also be set up via the scene management. The free-of-charge Gira plug-in for door communication can additionally be integrated into the interface, allowing the image and voice functions of the door intercom to be conveniently operated via the eNet system. Thanks to the vivid multi-touch display, this range of functions can be operated with a single finger or a gesture.

Connection to the Gira eNet server

The Gira Control 9 Client is a compact central control unit for the entire building technology. The eNet system can be operated via the Gira Control 9 Client in combination with the Gira eNet server. Basic functions such as the convenient operation of lights and blinds can be regulated and controlled comfortably with a single touch to the multi-touch display. This is down to the user interface in the Gira Interface design, which is intuitive and easy-to-understand, displaying all the functions at a glance. Convenience functions, such as time control, astro function, or occupancy simulation, can be set up in combination with the eNet server. And system statuses can be visualised or measurements recorded and displayed by connecting the Gira Control 9 Client to the eNet server.

Installation

The Gira Control 9 Client is mounted into the wall in a flush-mounted device box. The Gira Control 9 Client can be installed into existing Gira InfoTerminal Touch flush-mounted device boxes using an adapter frame so that older systems can be upgraded to the current state of the art. The device's energy consumption is low. Power is supplied via an integrated long-range 110–230 V power supply unit. This means that there is no need for an additional power supply unit in the flush-mounted device box or distributor.

Accessories

Desk housing to be placed on a desk or mounted on the wall, adapter frame for installation into an existing InfoTerminal Touch flush-mounted device box, Gira DCS IP gateway for integration into the Gira door communication system.
