ZigBee® Light Link/start-up via an Android end device for the Philips Hue Bridge

Why can the wall/hand-held transmitter not be fully taught into the Philips Bridge via the Android app?

Requirement:

Commissioning via an Android end device for the Philips Hue Bridge.

Behaviour:

The Android Philips Hue app (Version 1.11.1.0) displays the error that performing an “automatic search” again does not open the network.

Solution:

Before performing an “automatic search” again, first leave the Settings menu. Once you have done this, a connection can be re-established (See Operating instructions Section 4.1).
