ZigBee® Light Link/no communication between transmitter and lights

Why can I not establish communication between wall/hand-held transmitters and lights?

Behaviour:

In rare cases, connection problems between the wall/hand-held transmitters and the lights may be caused by excessive data traffic in the wireless network (e.g. WLAN router).

Solution:

Manually change the ZigBee® channel.

Philips Hue (Version 1.11.1.0):

  • Open the Philips hue app.
  • Settings > Hue bridges > Select bridge >
  • ZigBee
  • Change channel

Note:

All lights must be switched on! The process lasts 30 seconds.

 

Osram Lightify (Version v1.6.0):

  • The ZigBee® channel cannot be changed manually.

Communication exclusively between transmitter and light (no bridge or gateway):

  • The ZigBee® channel cannot be changed manually.
