In 2021, Gira won the Digital Champions Award for outstanding “Digital Customer Experience”.
Presented by Deutsche Telekom and Wirtschaftswoche, the Digital Champions Award (DCA) is Germany’s largest cross-industry prize in the field of digitalisation. It honours small and mid-sized companies for developing and implementing trailblazing solutions.

At Gira, we always strive to create the best possible experience for our customers: smart, intuitive, original. This not only means designing high-quality and cutting-edge products. Beyond that, our goal is to make the world of Gira accessible online for everyone.
The launch of our website in 1996 was just the beginning. Since then, we’ve reached many more milestones on the way toward digital transformation: from building a social-media community and launching the online magazine G-Pulse to developing interactive tools such as the Gira design configurator.
Our hard work paid off: as of 2021, our websites and the G-Pulse magazine have reached over seven million users worldwide. Along with our presence on Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest, this has earned us the Digital Champions Award in the category “Digital Customer Experience”. But the digitalisation of Gira doesn’t stop here: we look forward to confronting new challenges and coming up with new innovations in the future.
