Gira KNX switching actuator, 4-gang 16 A with manual actuation and current measurement for C loads

The Gira KNX switching actuators with manual actuation and current measurement for C loads are available as 4-gang or 8-gang 16 A variants. They are equipped with an integrated bus coupler and used to switch either four or eight independently controllable load groups. The integrated manual switch can be used to trigger relay switchover (On / Off) in parallel or without KNX/EIB operation. The device variants’ switching contacts are specially designed for loads that are capacitive in nature and for resulting brief, high starting currents.

They feature integrated current detection. Separate current measurement can be carried out for each channel. The DRA actuators are installed on a DIN top-hat rail, and no other power supply is necessary. Gira recommends ETS 3.0 d for configuring and starting up the device.

  • Memory function for light scenes
  • Elapsed operating time meter as up/down counter with limit function (limit can be changed via bus) can be activated for each output
  • Input monitoring for cyclical updating with safety setting
  • Reactions in the event of bus voltage failure and recovery can be set for each channel following an ETS programming process
  • Current detection, measurement of load current for each channel
  • Limits for load monitoring (e.g. signalling of load failure)
