Gira blind control button

The blind control button enables the convenient control of blinds at the touch of a finger and offers a high level of operating convenience thanks to its various functions. Briefly pressing the button adjusts the slats, whereas pressing and holding the button (> 1 second) automatically raises or lowers the blinds and roller shutters. A status LED in the centre makes operation easier. The control button has an electronic lock.

Thanks to its flat design, the blind control button blends harmoniously into the frames of the Gira design lines. Short actuator travel paths ensure precision and a pleasant switching feel. The blind control button is practical for blinds, e.g. in kitchens, bathrooms, children's rooms, and offices.

Integrated lock-out protection

The control button has integrated lock-out protection. When activated, the blind moves into the upper end position, and the integrated status LED lights up. From this point onwards, incoming lowering commands will no longer be received via the auxiliary input, e.g. when a wind alarm is triggered. The lock-out protection is deactivated by briefly pressing the button.

Individual runtime

The blind control button offers a particularly high level of operating convenience by enabling an individual runtime to be set. For example, if a blind should not move to the lower end position to ensure the rooms are ventilated, the control button can be used to set a shorter runtime. This can be replaced at any time by saving a new runtime.

Blind controller insert without auxiliary input

  • Motor protection through mechanically interlocked relay contacts with a minimum switching time of 1 second
  • Rated voltage: 230 V, 50 Hz, N conductor required
  • Switching capacity: max. 1000 VA
  • Relay output: 2 NO contact relays (non-isolated and mechanically interlocked)

Blind controller insert with auxiliary input

  • Mechanical buttons or additional blind controller inserts can be connected via
230 V auxiliary inputs to set up group controls
  • 'Wind alarm function' can be realised via auxiliary inputs
  • Motor protection through mechanically interlocked relay contacts with a minimum switching time of 1 second
  • Rated voltage: 230 V, 50 Hz, N conductor required
  • Switching capacity: max. 1000 VA
  • Relay output: 2 NO contact relays
    (non-isolated and mechanically interlocked)
