If the smoke alarm device has triggered an alarm, this can be acknowledged by briefly pressing the function button. The alarm trigger must then immediately be found and rectified, otherwise another alarm will be triggered after 15 min.
A local smoke alarm is indicated by a loud intermittent tone and the flashing red light ring. The alarm device that triggers the alarm must always be found and acknowledged.
Each wireless module must be taught into a wireless receiver if the receiver is to react to the module. For this, you will require a compatible smoke alarm device that allows wireless module installation.
Smoke alarm devices must be installed in accordance with local regulations and user standard DIN 14676. Your fully trained smoke alarm device specialist can provide advice for planning the installation of these devices. We are happy to provide our system manual for information here.
Smoke alarm devices can be networked with compatible wireless modules.
The following combinations are possible:
- - RWM modular 114102 with wireless module 114300
can be connected to RWM Dual 233202 and wireless module 234100. - - RWM Dual 233202 with wireless module 234100 can be connected to RWM Dual Q 233602 and wireless module 234700.
- - Modular and Dual Q cannot be connected.
Networking using signal cables is only possible with smoke alarm devices of the same version.
Both products can only be identified if the product is removed from the cap.
Both products have the following features:
- Dual Q smoke alarm device: non-exchangeable battery, item no. 2336 02
- Dual VDS smoke alarm device: exchangeable battery, item no. 2330 02
